Booking

WhatsApp us on +1 416-906-6919 and describe the job. Photos or a short video help a lot. A ProSquad coordinator reads it, asks anything missing, and looks for a vetted pro on our network who is available and can come soonest. The pro sends you a quote, and you agree the timing with them.

We cover Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, including Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Puchong, Ampang, Gombak, Cyberjaya, Putrajaya and Klang. Send us your neighbourhood on WhatsApp and we will confirm whether a pro is available nearby.

Message your coordinator on WhatsApp straight away. We will try to find another available vetted pro, or you can pick a new time with the same provider. The timing and any arrangement is between you and the provider, and the coordinator can help relay messages.

Some jobs cannot wait, like a burst pipe, no water, a dead aircond in the heat or a tripped circuit. Coordinators are online 24/7, including nights, weekends and public holidays, and we look for an available pro who can come soonest. How soon depends on who is free in your area, so we do not promise a set time.

Pricing

It depends on the number of units, their horsepower and whether they are wall-mounted or ceiling type. A normal service is a lighter job than a chemical wash. Your quote shows the exact price for your units on WhatsApp before work starts.

It depends on the fault, the parts needed and how easy the spot is to reach. A simple tap change, a blocked sink and a leak behind a wall are very different jobs. Bigger jobs are always quoted separately, and every quote is confirmed with you before work starts.

It depends on the job: how many points, whether new wiring is needed, and how easy the route is. A single socket, a light point and a partial or full rewiring are quoted very differently. Your electrician confirms the exact scope and quote before any wire is cut.

Ask for the quote to be itemised, with labour and parts listed separately. A fair quote explains what it covers. If anything is unclear, ask your coordinator to explain it before you agree.

Some trades charge a callout or troubleshooting fee. If one applies to your job, it is shown on your quote before you agree. Nothing extra is added to the bill without your approval.

It depends on the job, and your quote says so. Where parts such as a tap, pipe fitting, switch or fan are needed, they are listed separately with their cost, so you can see what you are paying for. Ask your coordinator if you want to supply your own parts.

Trust & safety

A pro may find something else that needs attention, and it is fair to say so. We expect pros on our network to raise it with you first, with a photo and a quote, so you can judge it yourself. Extra work is for you and the provider to agree before it starts.

No. ProSquad does not guarantee, warrant or insure the work. We match you with a vetted independent pro on our network and coordinate on WhatsApp. The agreement for the work is between you and the provider, and any warranty is the provider's own. If you want one, ask the provider for it in writing before you agree.

ProSquad coordinates independent pros from our network. We vet pros before they join, and your coordinator shares who is coming once it is arranged. We do not claim that every pro holds every certificate, so ask about the qualifications that matter for your job.

Electrical work has its own rules, and what applies depends on the job. Ask your coordinator which qualifications apply to your work before you book, and ask to see the relevant documents. We would rather tell you clearly than promise something we cannot show.

You can ask the pro to take photos before and after the job and share them on the WhatsApp thread. That gives you a record of what was found and what was done, and it helps if a question comes up later.

Payment is agreed between you and the provider. Confirm the amount and how and when you will pay in the WhatsApp thread before work starts, and pay only the agreed amount through the method the provider gives you.

Aircond

Many technicians suggest every six months for a home that uses its aircond normally, and more often, around every three months, if it runs all day, is in a dusty area or is used in a bedroom every night. Your pro can tell you what suits your unit when they visit.

Not every visit. A normal service may be enough if the unit was cleaned recently and it still cools well. A chemical wash is worth considering when the unit smells, cools weakly, has mould on the coil, or has not been deep cleaned for a long time. Your pro will check and tell you honestly which one you need.

Check the filters first, since a dirty filter is a common cause, and make sure the room door and windows are closed. If it still does not cool, it may be a dirty coil, a blocked drain or a fault. Low gas can also be the cause, but topping up gas without fixing a leak only lasts a short time, so have a pro check the unit before you add gas.

Plumbing

Find the isolation valve under the sink or toilet, or the main water valve if you cannot find it, and turn the water off. Place a bucket or towel under the drip and photograph the leak for your coordinator. Do not try to fix a pipe that is under pressure, and keep electrical sockets and switches away from the water.

Hair, grease and soap build up in the trap over time. A simple clear is often enough. If it keeps blocking, the pipe may need a deeper look, and your pro will tell you before recommending any further work. The quote is confirmed with you first.

Electrical

A breaker trips to protect the circuit, often because of an overload, a faulty appliance or a fault in the wiring. Resetting it again and again is risky, so switch off the affected appliances, note what was running, and get a pro to trace the cause before it happens again.

It depends on whether new wiring is needed and how easy the spot is to reach. The fan or socket itself is an extra cost. Your electrician confirms the exact quote, including any wiring, before starting.

Still unsure? Ask with a photo.

Send us the problem and we will tell you what it involves and what it costs, before you commit to anything.
