If a socket is hot, a breaker will not stay on or there is a burning smell, switch off at the main switch if it is safe to reach and keep everyone away from that point. Do not open the distribution board yourself, and never touch wiring or switches with wet hands.
If there is smoke, fire or someone has had a shock, get everyone out and contact the emergency services first, then message us. A WhatsApp message is for arranging the repair, not for emergencies that threaten life.
Some electrical work, such as new circuits or changes to the distribution board, should only be done by a pro with the right registration. Tell the coordinator what you need and ask them to confirm this before you agree to the quote.
